Leah Ericksen Leah Ericksen

Leah Ericksen joined SMR as an Intern Architect in 2006. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a minor in Landscape Architecture. Leah has worked in the offices of Hoshide Williams Architects in Seattle, WA and 3E Design Group in Spokane, WA. In the summer of 2005, she held an internship with the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation in New York City, followed by an extensive trip through Europe and Northern Africa.

Paul brings a refreshing sense of enthusiasm and passion to affordable housing design. With a solid foundation in urban family housing and urban family-oriented environments, Paul is an advocate for creating unique spaces tailored to individual needs, quality craftsmanship and detailing. His visionary thinking and artful designs lead to livable spaces that enhance family interaction, highly functional buildings, and well integrated communities.

Amanda Mauzey Amanda Mauzey

Amanda Mauzey joined SMR as an Intern Architect in January of 2008. She graduated from Washington State University, receiving her Bachelors of Science in Architecture degree in 2006 and her Masters of Architecture degree in December of 2007. While at the University, she was involved with the 2005 Solar Decathlon competition and her graduate thesis project involved different ways in which the surrounding community could be revitalized through the recognition of the Palouse River. A native to western Washington, she has returned to the area to pursue her interests in responsive and responsible architecture.

Kathryn Willis, Associate AIA, joined SMR Architects as an Intern Architect in November 2006. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts in 2004. Kathryn recently moved to Seattle from Boston to further pursue her career.
