Poppi Handy, AIA phandy@smrarchitects.com Poppi received her Bachelor of Architecture and her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University. Prior to joining Stickney Murphy Romine in 2000, she worked with E. Lynn APP Architects in Ohio, and locally with Hochstrasser & Hoover Associates and John McLaren & Associates. Poppi is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the local AIA Committee on the Environment. She became an Associate at SMR in 2006. |

Ron Hopper rhopper@smrarchitects.com Ron Hopper, Associate Principal, has been with SMR Architects since 1990. His work has included multi-family and mixed use projects primarily with non-profit housing and human services clients. Prior to working with SMR, Mr. Hopper was involved in commercial, residential and multi-family projects with a number of architectural firms in the Seattle area. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of Washington in 1970. |

Douglas Ito, AIA dito@smrarchitects.com Douglas Ito, AIA, received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 1992 and attended the Master of Architecture program from 1993-1996 at the University of Washington. He joined Stickney Murphy Romine in 1996 and became an Associate in 2004. Mr. Ito has extensive background in the design of mixed-use buildings and is actively involved with the niche market of artist live-work housing developments. He currently serves as Chair of the Pioneer Square Preservation Board. |

Dean Kralios dkralios@smrarchitects.com Dean Kralios graduated from the University of Washington’s College of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1998 with a Master of Architecture degree and Certificate of Historic Preservation. He worked with Prellwitz/Chilinksi Architects in Massachusetts, Clint Pehrson Architects, and Hackworth Architecture & Planning prior to joining SMR Architects in 2000. Dean has been a registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional since 2003. He became an Associate at SMR in 2006. |

Scott Starr sstarr@smrarchitects.com Scott Starr is an Architect and became an Associate at SMR Architects in 2006. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Nebraska in 1993 and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington in 1996. Scott worked at Driscoll Architects in Seattle prior to joining Stickney Murphy Romine in 2002. |
